The Department of Emergency Medicine was first established in 1992 by Assistant Internal Medicine Specialist. Assoc. Dr. It was established under the chairmanship of Ahmet IŞIK. It also serves Elazığ and surrounding provinces.

Trainings Given:

1. Theoretical and practical training of students of the Faculty of Medicine,

2. Specialization training of research assistant doctors,

Medical Services:

1. Head - Abdominal - Chest Pain, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

2. Patients with Multiple Trauma, Myocardial Infarction

3. Diagnosis and treatment of other diseases related to Emergency Medicine
