        He graduated from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. In 2001, he completed his specialization training in Fırat University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child Health and Diseases. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Child Health and Diseases, Faculty of Medicine, Fırat University between 2002-2003. He completed his upper branch specialization training in the Department of Pediatric Nephrology at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine between 2004-2007. After completing his upper branch specialization, he founded the Department of Pediatric Nephrology at the Faculty of Medicine of Fırat University.  He received the title of Associate Professor in 2007. He worked as the Deputy Chief Physician of Fırat University Hospital   between 2008 and 2012. In 2011, he received the Pediatric Rheumatology Specialization, which was first established and accepted in the Türkiye. He founded the Department of Pediatric Rheumatology at Fırat University, Department of Pediatrics. He received the title of professor in the field of Child Health and Diseases In 2013. Between 2018-2020, he served as the Chairman of Fırat University Faculty of Medicine Pre-Graduation Education Assessment and Evaluation and Training of Trainers Commission. He contributed to many articles, papers and book chapters at international and national level. He is still a member of professional associations at national and local level. He is married and father of three children.
