Department of Medical History and Ethics
General Information:
It aims to gain the identity of a physician, to teach basic ethical concepts, to demonstrate medical ethical approaches in practice, and to provide the ability to achieve a healthy balance between patient and physician. In addition to providing basic ethical and bioethical values, our department also teaches the history of medicine. It aims to provide students with the ability to see the medical knowledge of past civilizations and open doors to new approaches.
Trainings Given in the Department:
Medical history and ethics courses are given at the undergraduate level to students in Term 1 and Term 3 of the Faculty of Medicine.
